This weekend the 7th Bristol Cubs went to Brownsea Island for a weekend camp together with 3rd Bookham Cubs. Brownsea is the birthplace of scouting where Robert Baden-Powell took the first group of scouts on an experimental camp.

Friday 18th
Safely made it to Brownsea Island. The peacocks even came to visit ?tents all up and now having fun and making new friends
Saturday morning
Morning activities underway ? all had a good nights sleep
Saturday evening
Joined up with some explorers and having a lovely campfire (with permission of course) learning some new songs.
Sunday afternoon
2 very tired packs of cubs on the ferry back to Poole. Lots of new experiences and friends made. Bring on the next joint camp!!
